Gary’s Story

Case Studies: Gary’s Story

Position: Regional Manager South
Location: Slough, South East

I joined Energetics 8 months ago and I’ve never looked back since

Gary joined Energetics in May 2014 as Southern Regional Manager, and was the first employee in the Southern Region. He has played an instrumental part in the expansion of the business, bringing a wealth of experience within the utility sector.

marksI was impressed by Energetics’ aspiration to be the leading Multi Utility Solutions Provider in the UK. The role presented a huge challenge with the opportunity to play a key role in the growth which was very attractive to me.”

Gary is thoroughly enjoying his role so far, and has already sourced and opened two operational facilities in Slough and Bristol as part of Energetics’ expansion into the South. He has been leading the search and recruitment of new employees and will be continuing to recruit throughout 2015. Gary has a clear message for anyone looking to join Energetics:

marksThis is an established company that remained strong through the recession, which has resulted in this current period of rapid growth set to continue over the next 5 years. It is an exciting time to apply for a career with Energetics, and regardless of whether your skills are operational, technical or managerial; there are extensive opportunities for training and development.”

Gary has spent considerable time with the delivery team in the Midlands, North West and Scotland head office, to share knowledge and identify best practice in advance of the Southern mobilisation. Together with his newly recruited team, Gary has developed a new operating model suitable for the Southern region.

Gary concludes

marksI feel extremely proud to have been entrusted with such a significant role, and I am delighted at what I’ve achieved in such a short time. I’m looking forward to growing with the company – the future is very exciting for Energetics.”
