Energetics provides the ideal opportunity and support for Graduates
Kimberley had recently graduated from university with a degree in Management Technology & Enterprise and while looking to find related employment, continued working as a supervisor at a supermarket. A friend working in the HR department at Energetics alerted Kimberley to an administrative technical clerical role within the support services department, and seeing an opportunity to gain experience in an office environment, Kimberley applied and was successfully recruited.
Within one year, an internal promotion opportunity came up to cover a maternity role as a Graduate Trainee Commercial Analyst with a business degree, so Kimberley applied and was delighted to be offered the job.
Kimberley’s job is very varied, and ranges from issuing asset values to colleagues in Design and Build during the quotation process of a project, through to creating the MPANs (Meter Point Administration Number) and their associated Line Loss Factors when a project is accepted. This is a vital part of the process to ensure that when Kym is billing the suppliers for DUoS (Distribution Use of System) Charges, Energetics Electricity is maximising its potential income. As this involves large sums of money Kimberley is extremely proud to be entrusted with this procedure.
In encouraging younger candidates or graduates to apply for a job with Energetics, Kimberley concludes
In March 2016, Kimberley completed her graduate traineeship and is now working in Energetics’ Asset team as a Commercial Analyst. She says about her promotion “It’s been tough but very interesting to apply the analysis tools learned from my graduate training and previous degree course and dissertation, to the job.”
